As it gets closer to release time, the cubs are learning to enter the Acclimation Pen for their food.
The cubs in WE #1 are seen here, going in and out.
It is hoped that they will return to the wild in a few days.
The cubs are fine, healthy, and chonky.
Phoenix finished his antibiotics! He ate peanuts, shelled walnuts, shelled pecans, apple slices, and grapes. He has a good appetite.
Rags and Scruffy, next door, will soon meet Phoenix. They have been meeting through the gate, with huffing and posturing. Hopefully, they will all get along when they actually meet.
It’s always interesting to see these meet-ups. We are hoping this one will go well. Watch this space.
