We start off with a really good picture of Juggles. He looks so much better (and we are sure he feels better, too) without that awful jug on his head!
Juggles is a handsome young bear!
After sitting in the leaves, he walks away with a nubbin fascinator.
Moving on, we come to Tater, who has been chompin’ on something to help him chubbify.
Tater demonstrates the bears’ technique of using the back of the paw for a plate.
Puddin’ had the swingy ball, so of course Sprout wanted it.
We can almost hear them saying “It’s mine,” “No, it’s mine!”
Let go!
Sprout gets his way as Puddin’ leaves the ball to him.
But then Puddin’ came back. He really wanted that ball!
Then along came Cricket. Since the others want the ball, he decides he wants it too!
It looked like there might be fisticuffs, until the cubs were distracted – by a branch! (Cubs don’t have very long attention spans).
To distract the three cubs who are waiting anxiously to go outside, the curators provided a swingy ball with honey on it.
They also gave them a rolly ball with honey on it, too!
A sparkling clean room in Hartley House, thanks to the scrubbing work by curators and the executive director.
The entire Hartley House has been deep cleaned and readied for the next occupants.
As you can imagine, the three cubs in the Acclimation Pen for Enclosure 4, as well as Turnip Bear, who has been recovering from his broken bones in his paw, are very anxious to get back outside! Hopefully they will get the go-ahead very soon! Watch this space.
