ABR cub #23 was admitted on October 13. This ties our previous record for the most cubs in a season – 23 cubs in 2009. However, these 23 are more challenging, as in 2009 the cubs were not at the facility all at once. We will let you know more about #23, and post pictures as soon as we have them.
Did you know that a group of bears is called a sloth? ABR now has quite a large sloth of cubs! Please help us feed them by purchasing gift cards of any amount from the Village Market IGA in Townsend, where Lisa can purchase perishable foods as they are needed, without having storage problems. Go to their website and scroll down to the section about Appalachian Bear Rescue.
