We found this letter about Bear Awareness Week in the Salt Lake City Tribune.  Although the letter speaks about Utah bears, the message applies to black bears everywhere.  The Knoxville Zoo is celebrating Bear Awareness Day this Saturday, May 22nd.  ABR will have a table display at the zoo on Saturday, and volunteers will be there to talk to visitors and answer their questions about ABR, our current cubs, and bears in general.  Come and see us!
