As we mentioned before, the curators decided that it would be a good thing to invite the six cubs in Wild Enclosure #3 to move over to the next door Enclosure, #4. We’ve seen the six cubs squishing into the smallest platform to sleep, and that was only one problem. The trees, saplings, and underbrush have taken a real beating, and in Enclosure #4 those elements have had a rest, and are ready for the onslaught of cubs who will be in hyperphagia soon. This video shows how long it took for the move to occur – it wasn’t a quick process!
We’ll share their adjustment to the new enclosure and will be especially interested in the sleeping arrangements in future posts.
