Today we have another YouTube video for you.  This time it is the cubs in Wild Enclosure 4 – Marvin, Carter, Noli and Sola who are the stars of the video.  They have become good buddies and spend their time foraging, sharing a tree for rest time and foraging again.  We see them eating the foods that the curator has thrown over the fence to scatter inside the enclosure.  One of the newer menu items is persimmons, which have recently become ripe.  Bears in the wild eat persimmons, and our cubs knew right away that these were good to eat. Marvin ate them first, and whether he “told” the others how good they were or not, the rest of the cubs found that they are very tasty, so they are gobbling them up, as well.  Click here to watch our four little foragers eating.
