Things in the Cub Nursery are pretty lively since the two cubs, Sugar Bear and Sweet Pea Bear are together.  Curator Coy captured these images of the cubs and their activities.

Curator Coy examines the cubs’ scat, to see if they are eating some of everything.  Bear scat is very revealing of what a bear has had to eat.  Because they do not digest food very well, it’s easy to tell what has been eaten.  Though it may gross some of us out, it is part of the scientific study.

After a meal, it’s time for rest.

Sweet Pea relaxes in the bed.  She gives a big yawn.

A few minutes later, it’s time for play again – a cubby rumble starts.
