Cubs in Wild Enclosure #2

It doesn’t happen often, but this was a day when none of the bears appeared on camera for the curators to see (and save for us to share). It was noon before one of the Beary Triplets came down from a tree to the platform.

One of the Triplets decided to get the day started, by coming down to the platform.
Down to the ground, with a look that said “What next?”
Soon more of the cubs joined in and all were busy foraging.
One of the cubs was digging a hole. Perhaps there were yellow jackets down there. Anyway, digging is fun for bears and practical, too.

Maybe for the next post we will have more photos – that is, if the bears cooperate!
