Finnegan Bear foraging near the Acclimation Pen.

Today we have two photos of Finnegan Bear doing what he loves to do – eat!  He is near the Acclimation Pen in these photos, but doesn’t seemed concerned about the fact that Andy and Eliza Bear disappeared from that pen a few days ago.  He keeps getting chubbier, and will be well ready for his own release in the near future.  Note that the door to the Acclimation Pen is closed now.

Finn does look quite round and rotund – a good shape for a bear in the fall!

As we posted when Andy and Eliza left, the images will be few in number, since the curators must limit even further their time spent near the Wild Enclosure.  We’ll post those photos they are able to take.
