The ABR bears, whether cubs or yearlings, really like to play with the swingy balls in the enclosures. Swingy balls are there for enrichment to keep them from getting bored during their stay. Bears are such intelligent animals that they need stimulation of various kinds, and our curators dream up many different enrichment strategies.
