Amidst all of the good news about our cubs, we are sad to report the passing of a dear friend and supporter of ABR, Jim Large of Townsend, TN. He and his wife, Pat, a former Park ranger, have been lifetime patrons of ABR. They have given monthly donations and raised money in their store (Ravenwood Jewelry) in Townsend.
Jim passed away Monday, July 11, 2011, at home. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force in Germany and retired from Norfolk Southern as a railroad detective. He had a great passion for traveling, which took him and his wife around the world. He was an avid family man who will truly be missed.
