Ken LaValley, a professional photographer in Townsend, took this stunning “family portrait” of our 3 SC Cubs.  No, he didn’t go inside the Wild Enclosure – the “no human contact” rule still applies, even to a photographer who is documenting the growth of the cubs for official records.  But the threesome were very cooperative, as they rested on top of their old pen, giving Ken the view he needed.  With a long lens on his camera, he captured this image.  Bennie is the standing cub, and Carrie is lying down, with Jerry behind his sister.
