Our eighteen-month-old male yearling, Bumble B. Bear, has shown himself to be very adept at shredding logs!  Bears have a good reason to engage in this destructive behavior – there are tasty and nutritious insects, pupae and larvae inside.  Insects are the main source of protein (“meat”) for bears, and Bumble is showing that he knows how to get those treats for himself.  Click here to watch our boy tearing into the log.  It’s worth a chuckle or even a LOL.
