We have talked about hyperphagia, the fall eating frenzy that strikes all bears including our cubs, this time of year.  Bears enter this stage and eat as much as they possibly can, to pack on the pounds that will sustain them through their hibernation when they do not eat at all.  This is a short video that shows hyperphagia very clearly.  First we see our newest resident, Aster Bear, still in The Cub House.  Then we see some of the Wild Enclosure cubs eating as much as possible.  Click here to enjoy the cubs at work getting chubby!
