What a Life!

The cubs at ABR live quite the life, playing, eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping . . .and so on. Today we check in with the cubs in Wild Enclosure #4, and find them doing all of the above, and then repeating.

The four cubs forage while lying down, and then roll around in the grass. And this is in the middle of the night!
Fat they are, but not too fat to play. The pool is a good place.
India Bear reclines while eating. She reminds us of the ancient Romans who ate while reclining.
India seems to be getting rounder and rounder.
She found a stick that she seems to like. Wonder what she’ll do with it? If only she had opposable thumbs, she could do all sorts of things.

On second thought – maybe not. Curator Janet has said that if bears had opposable thumbs they would take over the world, because they are so smart!
