The 22nd annual Wilderness Wildlife Week event will take place from January 7-14 in Pigeon Forge, TN at the Music Road Hotel and Convention Center.
This is a premier event for outdoor-lovers and animal aficionados of all ages.
Read all about it on their website, where you will find a listing of the programs by experts (including our own ABR curator, as well as Anne Allison and Kathy Sherrard, ABR educators). There are programs about many different species of animals, including bears of course, and about other nature-related topics. There are also a number of music programs, featuring Smoky Mountain musicians and cloggers. Hiking opportunities abound, with scheduled hikes to various destinations in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
If you can, do plan to attend at least some of the week’s events. And come by and visit us at the ABR information table in the Exhibit Hall.
