Yesterday (Nov. 22nd) was the 10-month birthday for all of the ABR cubs, whether large (Jellybean) or small (Crockett) or somewhere in between. Our curators have taken pictures of each of them, and here they are!
Crockett is definitely the smallest cub, having weighed only 11 pounds when he arrived a week ago. He’s been eating well and drinking his bear milk replacement formula, so we are sure he has gained a little weight already.
Scruffy and Rags are the cub brothers who are residing next door to Crockett in Hartley House. They have made great progress, but it is easy to see that Rags is still much smaller.
Moving on to the cubs who are in Wild Enclosures (in no particular order):

It is always a great feeling to be able to wish a Happy Cubby Birthday to our current and former cubs. We also wish a happy birthday to bears everywhere, and we remember the cubs who didn’t live to see this day.
