On Friday, September 30 ABR admitted the 22nd cub of the season. This female cub is very underweight for her age. She weighs between 12 and 15 pounds, whereas she should weigh about 40 pounds as an 8-month-old. She will need lots of the special TLC and good, nutritious food that ABR provides. She probably will need to spend the winter at ABR, because she is so tiny.
Each time we admit another cub, our food costs go up. Although we’ve said this before, we simply could not provide the needed nourishment for the cubs without your help. Please donate, if you can. Every amount, no matter how small, is a help. Thank you!
