Wild Enclosures #1 and 2

We’ve looked at Clover Bear in the Hartley House, and watched her climb into her extra-large water bowl, provided by Curator Janet in hopes that Clover would stop trying to climb into the small water bowl. So far, so good. We’ll go outside to the Wild Enclosures and see what the rest of the cub population is doing.

The cubs in Enclosure #1 like to huddle together at the base of this tree. Front and center is Aralia Bear, and in this photo we can plainly see her unusual, two-toned coloring.
There is the cubby pile. They seem to like to snuggle together to sleep. Can’t say we blame them, since it’s been pretty cold lately.
After their snooze/nap/sleepy time, they disperse to go off to forage.
In Enclosure #2, the Rainbow Triplets start their day after sleeping together on the platform.
The Triplets have made trails through the enclosure. The arrows point them out.
A different view of the trails in the enclosure. One Triplet has followed the trail and exits through the opening in the fence. All we can see is the nubbin, as the Triplet disappears.

Things seem to have slowed a bit, although we can never be sure. Today they are moving at a more leisurely pace, and tomorrow may be the opposite – keep checking.
