Where Are the Bears Now?

Comments are off

We posted the other day about the Big Move, when each of the bears except for Sweetie and Hartley, who were already out in Wild Enclosure #3, moved to new digs. Here is an update to remind you who is where.

First to move were Beignet and Boudreaux Bear, the LA cubs. They went from the Cub House to the Acclimation Pen for Wild Enclosure #4.

The Acclimation Pen allows them to see, hear, and smell the outdoors.

Next up it was the triplets’ turn to relocate. Into the Cub House they went. They had outgrown the Cub Nursery and needed more space.

They settled in quickly and started to play.

Daffodil was moved from the Red Roof Recovery Center to the Acclimation Pen for Wild Enclosure #3.

It’s likely that Daffodil Bear will soon be out in the Wild Enclosure with Hartley and Sweetie Bear.

Sweetie Bear relaxed in her tree and observed the proceedings without comment.

Sweetie “nose” about the new girl in the Acclimation Pen, but doesn’t seem bothered.

Hartley Bear stayed up in another tree.

Hartley watched from his position in his tree. No stress.

So now we will see how each bear adjusts to his or her new living accommodations. It will be interesting to watch how things play out.
