Now that India Bear has entered Wild Enclosure #4, the question of the day is when the four cubs will become friends. Some progress is being made. Just look –
India has explored the enclosure. She likes to swim in the Cubby Pool.She tried out the resting platforms.India chose a special spot for her nap.The other three cubs- Prost, Cheers, and Bourbon, watched from a tree.From there they can see, hear, and smell their new roommate.
Later in the day, Curator Quanah took a quick picture of India (on right) eating near the other cubs (on left). Progress!
Meanwhile, in Wild Enclosure #3 –
The four cubs move around at night, choosing various sleeping spots.Sometimes they end up in a big ol’ cubby pile.Sometimes one cub needs a private space.No denying, they look like angels when they sleep!Hops Bear takes a trip across the Tire Bridge to check on his friends.
It’s easy to see that the cubs have grown and are continuing to grow and to get more confidence. What’s next? Stay tuned.
