Summitt Bear To The Cub House

In our last post we showed you how Summitt Bear was indicating that he wanted out of the confinement of the Cub Nursery pen.  He was, literally “climbing the walls,” a clear sign that he is ready to move on.  Since he was so very sick when he came to ABR on March 27th, this was a very welcome development, and Curator Janet answered his need by moving him to The Cub House.  In this new, larger space his food with meds can still be controlled, but he has more freedom and the ability to climb and explore.  Click here to see the new video that documents his move.

Now that he is in The Cub House it will be possible for curators to take photos through the windows (one-way glass) that won’t be as clear but will show Summitt Bear and what he is doing.  Watch for these photos to come.
