Sleepy Cubs

Each day seems to make our cubs sleepier and more lethargic. In each of the Enclosures as well as in the Hartley House we are seeing bears as they wind down the year’s activities. Even though they don’t know it yet, they are getting ready for their first hibernation.

Bud will return to the UTCVM this week, to see how he has progressed. Our fingers are crossed that he’ll get a clean bill of health and the OK to be released.

News Flash – This is Cubby Birthday! Today the cubs are ten months old and our yearling is twenty-two months old! Important milestones for our little bears! Happy Birthday to all of our former and current residents!
