Sibling Swimmers

The weather remains hot and very humid, so today we visit Wild Enclosure #4 to see how Prost and Cheers Bear are handling the heat.

First, we take a look at Hops Bear, who seems to be holding up the platform with his foot.
In Wild Enclosure #4, Prost and Cheers are spending a lot of time in their Cubby Pool. It must feel good to have wet fur.
In sync, they climb out of the pool and head for the trees.
The siblings have also been using their resting platforms, which are comfy and shady.
They especially like the shaded sections – who can blame them?
The cubs are using the post in the foreground as a scratching post, much to the delight of the curators, who had hoped to divert their attention from scratching on the trees.
The orphaned cubs are doing well in their enclosure.
They are happy together – CHOMP! Cubs often bite the ears of other cubs (especially siblings).

Despite losing their mother at a young age, these two little cubs are thriving and getting full benefit from the ABR amenities. They should continue to grow and develop until time for their release.
