After our last post when we reported that all three of the cubs were sharing “Summitt’s” tree, they reverted to the separate trees that they had been using before. Oh well, they are getting along well and they have the right to choose when and where to take their naps. On this day Otto and Rollo were back on”Summitt’s branch” in that tree and Apollo returned to his own oak tree. Everyone was sleepy and choosing to snooze.

Apollo settled down on the branch in his oak tree.

It didn’t take long for Apollo to drift off to sleep.

Otto and Rollo took over the branch that Summitt used to favor.

Rollo was getting sleepy.

Rollo fell asleep in just a few minutes.
To our eyes, it looks very uncomfortable to be sleeping in a tree like the cubs. But to bears, a tree is the perfect place to take a nap. Sleep well, cubs!
