These are new photos of two of the yearlings at ABR.

Rupert, who is pictured alone and with his buddy Franklin, came to ABR in late 2011. He has made progress in weight gain as you can see.

Franklin is the name given to this year’s Yearling #6.  He arrived in late January and is also looking better these days.  Seeing our little bears improve is what keeps all of us going when we admit undernourished, pitiful yearlings like #8 the other day.

By the way, that little one has been named Challenger, as he seems to be challenging  his unfortunate past with his will to live.

The other tiniest yearling cub, #7, has been named Hardy, another appropriate name , we think.
