Today Eliza Bear was the cooperative cub, posing very nicely for photos. We think she would make a good cover cub for a bear cub news magazine. Of course, in reality the cubs do not know when they are being photographed so our reference to her posing is just a bit of humor.

Eliza Bear poses while foraging.

Eliza takes a dip of water from the Cubby Pool.
As bears, including cubs, enter the fall feeding frenzy known as hyperphagia, they also drink copious amounts of water.

Something has caught her attention. Perhaps a little (edible) critter.

Eliza goes after whatever it is.

We don’t know what it was or whether she caught it, but she came up again.

Framed by ferns, Eliza “poses” once again to show how pretty she is.
We do think that Eliza Bear is a beautiful little cub. Of course, the two boys – Andy and Finnegan are both handsome bears, too. All three of them are gaining weight and looking really healthy.
