Moving Beds

The three cubs who will overwinter at ABR are in the process of choosing their beds. This time, they started out in Jessamine’s daybed.

It wasn’t possible to see behind the tree, but since there was a cub’s head and another cub’s hind end showing, it was obvious that Jessamine shared her quarters.
Not for long, though -after a short time, one cub leaves the daybed.
The second cub leaves soon after the first.
In no time, the third cub leaves as well.
Boudreaux led the cubs to the Acclimation Pen.
Beignet followed her brother.
Jessamine comes in with Beignet.
All three cubs settle down in the straw.
Climbing into bed.
The three cubs slept all night in the Acclimation Pen.
When morning came they woke up. (We hope they were well rested and will choose this as their winter den.)

So it certainly isn’t decided yet, but we think it’s a good sign that the three cubs shared the bed in the straw in the Acclimation Pen. Keep watching to see what happens next.
