Enclosures #1 and #2 are just about finished. All the curators have worked hard. After learning the finer points of weaving hammocks, using just the Kevlar firehose skin, they have now installed them in the two enclosures.

Curators bring in a new hammock, woven from the Kevlar firehose skin. They are lighter in weight and will be easier to wash and sanitize.

The yellow arrow points to the new hammock, while the red arrow points to the new Kevlar firehose skin bumpers on the resting platform.

The old culvert dens and parts of the platforms are taken away. The work in Enclosures #1 and #2 is nearly complete.

Here is a Visitor Bear who happened by overnight. Since ABR is in prime bear country, we often have bears coming through. Hope this one is enjoying life.
