Today we have a special presentation – the video of Lovey Bear’s surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. The procedure that was expected to take jut a couple of hours actually took much longer. The two curators who were closest to the action in Tennessee narrate the video with help from Curator Tori, who reports from her home in Michigan.
They will answer questions that you might have, about the process that was followed, including how the repair was accomplished and what the prognosis is for his future.
We are happy to report that the difficult surgery went so well and for that we must thank the vets at the UTCVM. We will watch his progress during the days and weeks to come.
