Kris will sleep for part of the trip home
It’s a good month for bear releases! Early this morning, April 20, the Louisiana Wildlife Officers came to ABR and reclaimed their young bear, Kris, who had been admitted as a 40-pound yearling last December. He is going home weighing 104 pounds, a nice weight gain. Here are photos taken during his workup
