While the yearling cubs are mostly sleeping and resting in their winter dens, fundraising to care for them continues. On Tuesday February 28th, the Hard Rock Cafe in Gatlinburg, TN is holding a benefit concert “Random Acts that Rock,” with proceeds going to ABR. The Hard Rock Cafe is located at 515 Parkway in Gatlinburg, and the event is scheduled to run from 7:00 pm until midnight. Come on out and enjoy the music, food, and fun while supporting ABR and our cubs!
Another Gatlinburg business, Ben and Jerry’s, 638 Parkway, Gatlinburg, is having a benefit for ABR on Tuesday, April 3rd. Everyone who visits and gives a donation to ABR will receive a free scoop of delicious Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. You will also have the opportunity to receive a T-shirt or cap for a donation to our cubs. The fun starts at noon and goes on until 8:00 pm.
We want to give a shout and a big THANK YOU! to these local businesses who are supporting the work of ABR in this way. And we hope to see many of you at one or the other (maybe both) of these events. Thank you from the little orphans, too!
