Hartley Bear, the yearling from Kentucky residing in Wild Enclosure #3, used the Cubby Pool for more than getting a drink! He went for a swim in it and showed off his excellent form. Black bears are excellent swimmers, known for crossing rivers or lakes with ease. The enclosure cam caught Hartley testing the waters in the Cubby Pool, including grabbing an apple that was floating in the pool. Click here to watch our yearling swim.
