Since ABR still doesn’t have any 2025 cubs, we will again reach back into the files from previous years. This time we have HRH Rover Bear from the class of 2023. He is shown shortly before his release back to the wild.

Isn’t he a handsome boy? We hope that he is still living his best life as a wild bear and perhaps will be mating before long, fathering cubs who are just as handsome.

Do you know why he was dubbed “HRH Rover?” He was the first bear to be transported in the Land Rover Defender, that ABR had just won in the Land Rover contest (thanks to our devoted supporters who voted for ABR each day) He was a special cub, but all of them are special, and we are hoping that our agreement with TWRA will soon be  finalized so that we can save more cubs and yearlings, giving them a second chance.
