Cubs On a Sunny Day

Comments are off

After weather that didn’t encourage the cubs to come out and be seen, we had a good day and have several photos to share.

Beignet Bear is doing well in her private enclosure. She isn’t climbing (good for her!) but is walking well, despite a limp.
In the enclosure next door, here is a Beary walking away from the camera.
A night shot of Bluebeary. It’s a good thing bears don’t wear pants.
Two of the Beary Triplets prepare to start a wrestling match.
A Triplet examines a strange item around the tree.
In the Enclosure #2, Jessamine takes a break from foraging to pose for us.
Marigold finds acorns as she forages.
Bentley Bear is shiny and handsome in the sunshine.
Bluebelle forages for acorns in the enclosure.
Boudreaux is on the hunt for acorns.
Dandelion takes a break. She loves to sit this way, it seems.
An unidentified cub peers into the broken stump as if to say “There’s got to be something good in there!”

We think that all of these cubs look great – with healthy chubbiness and shiny coats. They are thriving!
