Cubs in the Wild Enclosure

Today we have some great photos of foraging cubs.  The images really give you a good idea of what the Wild Enclosure looks like.  As you can see, it looks very much like the natural habitat that the cubs will live in after their release back to the wild.

Blueberries had been scattered for them to find.  The cubs, like all bears, use their very powerful sense of smell to locate their food, so in these photos we see them foraging for the yummy berries by sniffing them out.

Cee Cee Bear was the first one to appear.

It isn’t long before all four cubs are finding blueberries.

The Wild Enclosure is a good training ground for their future release.
