Cubby Adventures – Part 2

In our last post we showed Tweetsie Bear exploring in the second room of The Hartley House. She reunited with her brother Dumplin’ but seemed to be cautious and a bit nervous. In fact, she stayed in the corner of the room. Ferdinand had just entered the room. Let’s see how that played out.

The two male cubs played on the bed, while Tweetsie ventured out of the corner to have a snack.
The boys took a nap, and Tweetsie retreated into the corner again.
After dark, Tweetsie left the corner and headed toward the bed.
Tweetsie waited for her chance to join the boys.
Tweetsie reached the bed and started to climb in.
Ferdinand spotted her. He seems unsure of this new cub.
She stretches out to her full length, and her brother greets her.
Dumplin’ seems to be reassuring Ferdinand, “It’s OK, she’s my sister.”
Dumplin’ and Tweetsie in a sibling hug.
Dumplin’ goes for a snack, leaving Tweetsie with Ferdinand, who is still uncertain about her.
Ferdinand leaves. Tweetsie is puzzled. What’s going on?
Eventually Ferdinand returns, and the three cubs end up in a cubby pile.
They slept that way, changing positions during the night. Perhaps all is well in The Hartley House now.

Young cubs like these three are much more content with others of their kind. Now that the ice has been broken, as it were, we expect that they will become best buds during their stay at ABR. We are in for some delightful chaos and mayhem!
