It’s another chilly day at ABR, and the three cubs are doing their usual  – mostly sleeping, with a bit of foraging now and then.

They were in their daybed again. We wonder if the really cold weather that is predicted will make them decide to try a culvert den.

Phoenix went to forage.

Scruffy and Rags lag behind. The cubs forage mostly in the mornings.

Phoenix follows Scruffy. Perhaps he thinks the largest cub knows where to find the best food.

Uh-oh! Scruffy’s rather large caboose blocks the way.

This photo shows how the ABR facility is built on hilly terrain.

Look how chubby Rags (in front) has become! Good bear!

The cubs settle on the resting platform where they will sleep for the rest of the day.

ABR is located in Bear Country,

This photo labels the enclosures and buildings. They will change after the cubs are released and the curators do the upgrading and remodeling that they are planning. Stay tuned.
