Clubhouse for Cubs

The cubs in Wild Enclosure #2 – Boudreaux, Bentley, Bluebelle, Dandelion, Jessamine, and Marigold – have found themselves a clubhouse. When the curators couldn’t find the cubs, they searched with the camera until they spotted a hole under the Acclimation Pen that had been enlarged by little bears in digging mode.

The new “clubhouse” is under this Acclimation Pen.
There it is, from this view thanks to the enclosure cam. It’s cool, dark, and private for their “club meetings.”
They come out to forage, but we can see where they are hiding out.

Wild Enclosure #1 is a different story. Beignet and the three Beary Triplets are laid out on the platform like loaves of bread.

Beignet and Triplets – furry “loaves” in a row.

It was a calm day at ABR. Everyone is doing well.

We hope that the released yearlings are doing well in their new homes, too.
