Catching a Rascal

Bourbon Bear went onto the safety log in the Cubby Pool, not to swim, but to grab floating peanuts or apples.

Bourbon didn’t feel like swimming, but the log is a good place from which to fish for treats.
A mysterious paw reached out for the log!
That paw set the log to spinning and Bourbon was dumped in the water!
Bourbon caught sight of the rascal as he beat a hasty retreat.
Bourbon almost walked on water, as he chased the cub who dumped him.
Bourbon caught up with the rascal at the swingy ball.
Confrontation! It was time for a “trial by swingy ball.”
Chomp!Smack!Chomp!
Barley Bear was the rascal with the mysterious paw of doom!
Fortunately, cubs have short memories and recover quickly when it’s time to play and forage.

Soon the cubs settled back to their normal routines, playing and eating. Bourbon was none the worse for wear after his dunking. Stay tuned to see what happens next.
