Boudreaux and His Toys

One night recently, Boudreaux Bear found something intriguing – a rubber ring. No one knows exactly where it came from, but the little bear played with it for quite a while.

Boudreaux sits and studies the rubber ring he found.
He finds that this thing is stretchy. It is also chewy.
What can he do with it?
It stretches!
It goes around his front legs.
Rolling onto his back, he chews on the rubber. Look at his fat tummy!

A log! Bear cubs don’t have long attention spans.
A stick makes a good toy, too.

What a fun time!
Boudreaux climbs up to rest on the firehose hammock. What next?

Those of us who have dogs or cats can surely relate to a young animal playing with a found item. In fact, toddlers do the same thing. We can’t help but wonder if he would have had such an opportunity if he were in the wild. Probably not.
