Bears and Fruit

Various fruits are favorite foods of bears. We know about their fondness for berries of all kinds, but they also gobble other fruits, as well. Fall fruits include apples, pears, and grapes. The cubs were eating the fruits provided by the curators, and eating them with enthusiasm.

One of the Triplets chowed down on a pear.

While the cubs were busy eating, Sweetie Bear snoozed on the platform.

A rainy day makes you sleepy.

We are thinking that perhaps hyperphagia is kicking in. We’ll watch the behavior of the cubs over the next weeks and see.
