In our last post we showed the cubs in the Cub House, Beignet and Blackbeary, as they were enjoying the sweet taste of honeysuckle. Today we have a hilarious video of the introduction of this new and unfamiliar item to their menu. Being timid, as bears are, plus being curious, as bears (particularly cubs) most certainly are, when Beignet and Blackbeary first encountered the honeysuckle they were wary, even acting a bit fearful. They didn’t know if perhaps it was something dangerous. But after a few minutes, as it didn’t attack them, they summoned their cubby courage and decided that they would be the attackers.
