All About Angus Bear

Angus Bear completed his period of confinement to take his deworming meds and was released into Wild Enclosure #1. He adjusted to the new surroundings immediately, as we see from these photos.

Angus explored his enclosure and rested on the platform.

It didn’t take long for him to fall asleep there.

Little bear cubs are babies and need frequent naps, just like human infants.

Although some cubs take a long time to try out the Cubby Pool, Angus tried it on his first day!

In no time, he was swimming!

He also tried out his climbing skills on several of the trees in his enclosure. He is feeling very much at home there.

The curators wanted Angus to feel at home in Wild Enclosure #1 before they release the last set of triplets (Highland, Nessie, and Piper) into the enclosure to join him. His comfort level will insure that the threesome is less intimidating when they descend on the enclosure.
