A Day in the Lives in Enclosures

Yesterday we detailed a day in the life of Bud Bear, in the Hartley House, so today we’ll see how the days are going for the cubs out in the Wild Enclosures.

The two brothers sleep on their platform in Wild Enclosure #1.
The breeze blowing makes the two boys a bit nervous. Bears don’t like wind, which disrupts their ability to smell and hear possible dangers.
In Wild Enclosure #3, Cosmo and Hops are on their platform.
The two cubs played and goofed off for a while.
Then they, too, were nervous about the wind and up the tree they went for safety.
Over in Wild Enclosure #4, the camera caught all four of the chubby cubs foraging together.

Cheers’ brother Prost Bear looks very chubbified!
We aren’t sure exactly who these cubs are, but we think it’s a great photo of two cubs and a blue jay!

It will be very interesting when the cubs are weighed for release and we learn their final weights! For sure, the weights of all eight have increased a lot! Watch this space.
