It has been and continues to be very cold and snowy here in East Tennessee, including Townsend. The curators are stuck inside, working on computers and conference calls. The good folks at Roger Newman and Sons Heating and Cooling in Maryville TN have very kindly offered to install UV filters on the HVAC units in the Recovery Center, the Hartley House and The Cub House. They will also sanitize the duct work, and all for just $350! We (and the bears) are so fortunate to have such great friends! Mr. Newman had recently heard Greg Grieco speak at the Rotary Club meeting. We are always happy to present Bear Wise information to organizations.
