Scruffy, Rags, and Phoenix spend a lot of time in the daybed at the bottom of the tree.  Scruffy sometimes annoys the others when he wants to play and they want to keep snoozing.

Here he was, before he joined the others on the daybed. He slept on the platform.

He sat up briefly, and then went back to sleep. This is typical behavior at this time of year.

Scruffy the Large and Phoenix the Small.

What was that by Phoenix’s eye? Curators were concerned.

Three cubs in the daybed.

One cub (Scruffy) leaves. He wanted to play. The others didn’t.

Phoenix washed his face.

Voila! He looks good! Mud is gone.

Phoenix and Rags get up to have a snack.

Soon it was back to sleep for all three cubs. As we have said, they are really slowing down.
